If you have an hour to spare, I suggest you watch this excellent video of Douglas Adams speaking at the Microsoft Professional Developers Conference in 1996. Funny, mind-expanding.
Watching this Portal 2 trailer video makes me think about how much Douglas Adams would have loved Portal, and how sad it is he died.
Sometimes when I listen to Bob Dylan, or Bruce Springsteen, Leonard Cohen, or any other older musician I love, I think about how one day they will be dead. I know it’s coming one day, but I just don’t want it to ever happen. To anyone.
