James “The Amazing” Randi is a champion of the skeptic movement. I first read about him in Carl Sagan’s books, and through repeated exposure, came to realize his huge influence on skepticality and atheism. A hero of mine, by proxy of being a hero of all my heroes. He saw Milk last week, and it motivated him to come out to the world. Touching.
